Children's birthday party

This was a few years ago. My boyfriend and I hosted a birthday party for my niece. She was turning six years old and she invited all of her friends. We planned to put on a live puppet show for the kids. The puppet show was going to be about Pinocchio. My boyfriend built a town setting out of cardboard. It looked so much like the movie set. The story was about how Pinocchio's nose would get really long every time he would tell a lie. My boyfriend was Pinocchio and I was the bad guy. We applied makeup with lots of colors and funny faces for them to enjoy. As the story went on Pinocchio's nose grew longer and longer and longer. There was twelve girls there and they all sat down on the floor to watch the show.

The idea was for me to get Pinocchio to tell lies and make his nose grow and the only way for his nose to go down was for the girls to kiss Pinocchio on the nose to help him be normal again. After his nose was really long each of the girls got up and kissed him on the nose one right after the other.

All the kids loved it so much that they all wanted to keep kissing  Pinocchio to help him. We showed them how to put tip of his nose in their mouths so he didn't feel so bad because lied and was told not to be a bad boy.
